34 Afghan Windows

Performance
34 Afghan Windows is an experiential journey that captivates each participant by giving them the opportunity to travel within the Afghan world, because unfortunately it is not possible to be there nowadays. The number 34 refers to the 34 provinces in which different cultures, traditions, music, and history are waiting to be discovered. Each window shows a different perspective, and our intention is to give every listener the opportunity to open the windows and discover the reality of this forgotten land. We focus on issues such as: war, violence, terrorism, the indifference of Western countries, women rights, the escaping process of refugees, the journey to Europe and at the same time we try to spread the seeds of hope, dreams and dignity.

Abgrund

Band
Abgrund fuse post-punk, EBM, and new wave with live drums, bass and synths, building a dark electronic sound in which structure, harmony and noise blur. A tense balance of control and collapse, very disciplined yet liberating. With Abgrund, you will gaze into the abyss, and it will answer.

A Cosmic Threshold

Performance
Cosmic Threshold is a lecture-performance in which we explore the connection with sacred healing plants and mushrooms. From the cultural appropriation to the experience of the sacred, we would like to dive in different layers of reality and our ability to inhabit the unknown. AnaPaula and Karel were born in the Mexican mountains and visit us for opening this psychonautic space of healing. EN / ES / DE

Adi Scotheque

Band
Adi Scotheque crafts lo-fi, heart-first pop built from cheap keyboards, big feelings, and DIY grit. Blending indie sleaze, country roots, and dancefloor melancholy, her songs live somewhere between confession and catharsis.

Afrorack

Live Act
Brian Bamanya is the first person on the African continent to build DIY modular synth setups, hence his alias Afrorack. The 30-year-old engineering wizard started his music journey playing guitar and creating his own instruments, before diving into the world of modular synths. Bryan developed an extensive, experimental home-built modular synth set-up he’s been using to perform for the last two years. Expect dazzling, improvised live sets mixing African rhythms, techno, and acid house.

AFROTOPIA. Schwarze Konstruktionen von Geschlecht und Sexualität

Talk
In colonial discourse, Black people were either devalued as animalistic and infantile or hypersexualized and objectified, and thus dehumanized. How do these colonial imaginations continue to shape the present? How are Black bodies portrayed in the media today, and how can Black sex workers appropriate these stereotypes and use them to their advantage? Discuss with the wonderful author Jenaba Samura and the activist Sisal. DE / EN translation

AG Plaste

Band
Young and fresh and punk and loud and fun and synth and heady and so on ad nauseam! German punk that is just as fast and clear as it is loud and noisy. Tie on your shoes, grab your crew, and crossword puzzle like there's no tomorrow! (If you don't get the last sentence, ask your nearest friendly German speaker...if you can find one!)

AI Slop: a discussion about good enough technologies

Talk
The internet has been a mess for a while. Clickbait, fake news, endless content that says very little, images of nothing – just a constant stream of crappy, sloppy stuff. Now AI/LLMs are making it worse. With tools like ChatGPT, we can produce huge amounts of text, images, and ideas in seconds. A lot of it sounds convincing. A lot of it looks finished. But much of it is…kind of empty. Slightly off. Just okay. So how do we make sense of this? In this session, we bring in two sociologists to think through this growing pile of »AI slop.« One way to understand it is through the idea of »good enoughness.« Most technologies aren’t designed to be perfect – they’re designed to be good enough to work. AI supercharges this. It produces content that feels usable and complete, regardless of whether it’s shallow or wrong. That’s how slop spreads: it passes. In this session we will discuss the following questions: What is AI slop and how did it get here? Why are technologies just meant to be good enough? Who is actually producing all this slop – AI, or us? We’ll share a few short, real examples from how people actually use AI at work and in everyday life. And then we open it up to you: Bring your weirdest AI outputs, your frustrations, your favorite uses – or your skepticism. Let’s try to make sense of the mess together.

Alarmsignal

Band
Punk is dead! Long live the punk! Boom boom tschack, boom boom tschack and the barricades are burning. It's not enough to be against something: do something! »Alarmsignal« (german for »amber light«) is pure punk with attitude. Want to reach that sweet spot where you can feel your heart throbbing to the beat? Enough said!

Albertine Sarges

Band
With a cross-genre approach between art pop, krautrock, and 70s folk, Albertine Sarges combines vocals and instruments, from the flute to the drum pads, in layered arrangements to create deeply moving rhythm, harmony, and experimental pop.

Alien Chicks

Band
Alien Chicks are an experimental post-punk power trio from Brixton. Expect dark and twisted fairy tales of modern Britain: surrealist social commentary packed with punchy rhythms, eclectic time signatures, and nostalgic harmonies fueled by huge amounts of passion and energy. Beware! It's addictive!

Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra

Band
Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra folds brass, distortion, and sudden tenderness into sprawling pieces that seem never to settle. One moment they drifts like a wonky love parade, the next they bursts open into pure chaos. Music for getting pleasantly lost – somewhere between free jazz, psych cinema, and an engine room full of strange dreams.

Antifaschistisches Morsen (DE/EN)

Workshop
Beep, Dot, Dash Against Fascists: In this workshop, you will learn the basics of Morse code, its role in resistance movements, and how to creatively make anti-fascist messages both audible and visible – no prior knowledge required. Everyone is welcome to participate, though the workshop is specifically geared toward those with no previous experience.

Apéro

Band
APÉRO is an outernational synth punk/egg punk trio that can be found at the devils’ crossroads where synth-, garage- and egg punk meet for a little pre-dinner drink. If you like cold drinks, cool snacks, synth drums, half-stupid lyrics, and cheap trashy effects, then this might quite possibly be your type of thing!

Ashanti Selah ft. Dan I Locks

Live Act
Dan I Locks: roots reggae singer; founding member of Deng Deng HiFi; decade-long collaborator with Ashanti Selah. In their legendary sound system shows, the music is the message: roots and culture, dub ans steppers. Foundation style from the late 70s meets modern style and a whole lot of heavy bass. The message is central and it's one of peace and love, revolution and spirit.

Asia Imbiss

Band
ASIA IMBISS blends alternative indie, electronica, and lo-fi pop. Everyday fragments and a shifting mix of vocals, synths and rhythm take you on a journey of nostalgic wanderlust, and late-night haze. Refletions on drive-in burgers, sambuca, bad moods, good moods, and bittersweet family life are poured into lyrical tunes and poppy rhythms. Guten Appetit!

Ata Kak

Band
Ata Kak, the Kumasi artist behind Obaa Sima, crafted a singular blend of highlife, hip-hop and funk in the early ’90s that went largely unnoticed until decades later. Now a cult figure blending Twi rap and Afro-futurism, Ata Kak's approach remains smooth: »I don’t consider myself a legend, I’m just doing what I love.«

Atom Atom

Band
Atom Atom play biting, bleak anarcho-punk with alternating, heavily reverbed vocals and snappy uffta-uffta backed by the occasional D-beat. The pissed-off lyrics drift through Weltschmerz, mental health, and feminist rage. Lately, the whole thing’s also picked up a noticeable wave/post-punk edge, adding extra bite and a layer of gloom to the chaos.

AVEM

Live Act
Driving rhythms and ephemeral soundscapes, rooted in a style of electronica that prioritises emotional density. AVEM relies on hypnotic repetition as playful techno influences shift into more aggressive, break-heavy territory. A live set designed for movement-balancing dynamics with a distinct, atmospheric depth.

Awareness-Vernetzung (DE/EN)

Workshop
This networking meeting is aimed at people who are engaged in awareness work or are part of awareness structures, and want to exchange with others. The goal is to share experiential knowledge, reflect on challenges, and strengthen cross-regional networking. The focus is on talking about specific experiences, such as dealing with boundary violations, shift-related stress, and collaborating with other working areas such as security, medical teams, PsyCare, etc.). We will also address current challenges in awareness work, such as defining boundaries between awareness and other work areas.

Baran Kok

Live Act
Baran Kok’s take on queer rap doesn’t aim for clean representation or easy politics. Forget the »good«, palatable outsider. Provocative, ego-driven excess, macho posturing, sexual bluntness: all things straight male rap are here reclaimed. Arrogance and vulnerability, horny chaos and complete social discomfort: confrontational punchlines meet moments of painful honesty. Sleazy, self-aware, and messy, forget polished identity politics. Instead, revel in public emotional spillage over blown-out club beats.

Bass Sick Shit

Band
Bass Sick Shit deliver an enthusiastic mix of raw punk rock, tightly locked-in, hard-hitting drums, and funky slap bass grooves. For 12 years, the two friends been bringing their Bass Sick Shit (basic shit) to the stage, creating an atmosphere driven by pure feminist rage funneled into positive energy and community.

Battlepunk für Anfänger*innen

Workshop

BEATING THE DRUM

Performance

Bella & The Bizzare

Band
A wild fusion of garage punk, sixties rock ’n roll, surf, and a sprinkle of soul. Bella’s smokey vocals mash it up and bring it to life by buttering it with sweet harmonies. Add to the mix some crunchy guitar licks and killer bass lines and you have Bella's unavoidably contagious rapture. If you aren’t a Bizarro yet, she’ll surely turn you into one before the evening is over!

Bingo with 'erogene Zone' (queerfem. sexshop and educational collective)

others
Terminology BINGO is, as always, gonna be a colourful affair. As the song goes: »Mit dir möcht ich gern Bingo spielen, immer immer wieder Bingo spielen…«. By the end of our session, you’ll not only be intimately initiated into the basics of Flogger, but with a bit of luck, you’ll also walk away with some hot, hot prizes. Beware, though: gambling can be addictive! *Easy English Edition*

BiPoC Empowerment through Horror (DE/EN)

Workshop
This workshop aims to be a space where we can collectively reflect on the possibilities that the horror genre offers us to empower ourselves and each other. Together we’ll take a look at the transformative potential of horror stories from marginalized perspectives. - Bi_PoC only

Blow Jobs Are Real Jobs

Performance
Creaked out of an eck with two heads and no brain - just fracking around. To girls unceremoniously take the stage on bass and synth. Blowjobs Are Real Jobs they’re getting up close and personal with you. They half sing, half yell about masturbation and monogamy, can´t hold their laughter in between songs; moaning, yelling, shrieking, panting, crying.....

Boko Yout

Band
Boko Yout is the outsider infiltrating the mainstream. Led by Paul Adamah, the genre-defying Swedish band has carved out its own sonic universe with Afro-Grunge – a wild and fearless collision of punk-funk pulse, raw alt-rock aggression, and off-kilter experimentalism. The result is music that feels like a riot and a ritual at once: visceral, disruptive, spiritual, and deeply rooted in ideas of liberation, creativity, and intentional living.

Bombstrap

Band
Fasten your seatbelts for a full-throttle journey: BOMBSTRAP is a 4-piece terrorsquad hailing from Manchester and Rotterdam. Big nihilistic hardcore sound rooted in black alchemy and ultraviolence for you to rattle your guts and scream your lungs out. For all the fans of No Trend, Total Abuse, and dead healthcare CEOs out there.

Bö.senberg

Live Act
Armed with nothing but a drum kit and a stack of effects pedals, BÖ.SENBERG turns minimal rhythms into industrial energy. The solo project of French drummer Vincent Redel (La Colonie de Vacances, ex-Electric Electric), these live sets are a pulsing mix of ’90s techno and percussive power.

Brass Riot

Band
Whether in clubs, at protests, or on the street: Brass Riot will always deliver on the element of surprise. With the exceptional combination of two saxophones and a drum kit, they perform creative sets in a minimal line-up that makes everyone dance – without exception.

Briefe in den Knast

Workshop

BRIK TU-TOK

Live Act
Brik Tu-Tok is the freaky, high-energy, DIY universe of musicians Linde Carrijn and Maxim Storms. The band moves like a phenomenon within the Belgian underground, where they cultivate an idiosyncratic form of anti-pop: playfully disruptive, aesthetically defiant, unbound by conventions. Their musical trip is a grotesque collage of catchy synth riffs, weird samples, raw old-school beats, and off-the-hook lyrics. A Brik Tu-Tok performance is a high-energy party; a poetically derailed catwalk; brutal and salty.

BSK

Band
BSK still believe punk should annoy as many people as possible — inside and outside their own scene. Somewhere between catchy singalongs, clashing synths and sarcastic side comments, the band stumbles through the ruins of modern Germany with enough hooks to get even the angriest old-school punks tapping on the kitchen table. Their self-declared mission: “No more private jets for Friedrich Merz.” Punk still lives, unfortunately.

Built your own kite / Drachenbau-Workshop

Workshop

Cakes Da Killa

Live Act
Cakes da Killa: Performer, songwriter, innovator, queer pioneer. New Jersey-born, but he’s reigned in New York through a decade-plus independent career tearing up stages worldwide with a unique blend of rap, house, and electronic music. Cakes declines to submit to convention via self-definition; he knows himself, and the rest is up to the listener: »I know you're touching me, but are you feeling me?«

CALYSS

Band
CALYSS is a five-piece post-metal band that thrives on tension and dynamics. Expect slow builds from fragile calm to crushing intensity, achieved through delicate passages and walls of distortion. You will be held in an immersive and powerful experience of waves of sound rolling across an unsettled, dark seascape.

Cameyo

Live Act
What do you get when you mix tech house, hip-hop, jazz, and funk with the soulful electronica of Cameyo? They call it Trip-House. Thriving on spontaneity, improvisation, emotional honesty, and fun, Cameyo has captivated the hearts of Berlin audiences and is now here to capture yours, too!

Carla Hinrichs

Lesung

Carl Gari

Band
The music of Carl Gari resists easy categorisation. Arising out of the friction between electronic music and guitar textures, the trio forges a distinctive, idiosyncratic sound. Distorted electric guitars and pulsating basslines intertwine with analog drum machines, tape delays, and intricate effect chains, creating music that is raw, organic, and psychedelic.

Carmen Sea

Live Act
Carmen Sea is an instrumental trio: violin, guitar, and drums. Straddling the line between rock and electronic music, the band delivers a radical, high-tension sound intertwining electronic production with live instruments.

CASSETTE HEADS TAKEOVER FEATURING TAN BROWN

Band
Since throwing their first jam sessions back in 2019, music collective Cassette Heads have cultivated a community around the love of listening, playing and sharing their unique blend of jazz, soul, hiphop, r&b and beyond with invited guests in their famous weekly events, all year round! Joining the Cassette Heads crew on this occasion is NYC native, singer/songwriter Tan Brown, known for her immersive soundscapes, hazy vocals, effortless delivery, and deep stories.

Catt

Band
CATT blends indie folk, singer-songwriter, and 60s/70s-inspired pop into warm, organic arrangements. Multi-instrumental layers, intimate songwriting and band-driven dynamics shape a sound between classic folk and modern indie pop. Emotional, sophisticated, soft, strong – listening to CATT makes your heart beat to 60 bpm.

Charlotte Colace

Band
When classic soul blends with trip hop, and honesty as comfort meets a voice so charismatic. When the piano/organ, the trumpet and saxophone, the vocal ensemble, bass, drums and percussion got the real feel, the chilly couleur, the silky seducement – uhh, woow! Need a dash of glamour, a warm smile, a warm wink, does pouring your heart out still feels a little daunting yet it’s within reach? Charlotte Colace.

Chewy She

Band
CHEWY SHE is an electro-disco-punk band from London, blending glittery disco grooves with punk rock energy. Known for wild, immersive live shows that mix humor, absurdity, and feminist themes, they'll wind you into their chaotic, campy, rule-bending fairytale performances and twist you into a wild dance frenzy.

Chloe Loftus Dance

Neuer Zirkus
An inimitable and mesmerising duet spirals, entwined, harnessing their differences and strengths into aerial dance. Intimate and spectacular, The Air Between Us is the creation of acclaimed New Zealand dancer and choreographer, Chloe Loftus, performed alongside Belgian dance artist Florent Devlesaver. Arriving at this point in time from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, they craft a celebration of equality and connection using a bespoke counterweighted rigging system, incorporating both the body and the wheelchair into an extraordinary performance. This unique aerial dance explores our innate capacity to exist in symbiotic harmony with one other and with our environment.

Chocolate Remix

Live Act
Queer-feminist reggaeton artist Chocolate Remix is a political statement and a transfeminist revolution, turning the genre inside-out with a sharp humour that is sexy, but never sexist. CHRISTØFER

Band

Cie. Alta Gama

Neuer Zirkus
“Mentir lo mínimo” is a minimalist piece about body image. Three bodies – a man, a woman, and a bicycle – navigate the circular stage of the Toto Arena, exploring balance, beauty, and fragility. Rather than striving to be smooth and perfect, the two performers shed layer after layer of everything superfluous and question what remains: What relationship do we have with our bodies, and what kind of relationship do we want to have?

CLARKS PLANET

Band
With Clarks, you’ll experience sensual moments on traffic islands in overheated cities, shameless retorts hurled straight into the faces of those hungry for power – all orchestrated by a choir of long-eared owls – and a heart breaking in an on-again, off-again relationship with society: “Can’t we just start over?” Patriarchal crusts crack open, revealing vulnerability, connection, and something soft that wants to stay. The whole experience is presented to you on a golden platter filled with virtuoso musical artistry, and as a very special side dish, the artists from Visuell will also enchant your eyes.

Compagnie 7bis

Zeitgenössischer Zirkus
With Instante, Juan Ignacio Tula explores the metaphoric possibilities of the Cyr wheel. Through an exchange of forces and counterweights between the metal wheel and his body, he opens a terrain of possibilities expressed by centrifugal force. The simplicity of the gyrating, repetitive movement creates a state of physical exhaustion, while the lack of vision generated by constantly spiraling action, a survival instinct kicks in. The body is engaged completely, arriving at a point where time and space border on the infinite. Instante materialises a journey to the centre of ourselves, leading us to the brink of hypnosis, disrupting our relationship with time, and offering the body as a mirror to reify our humanity. An unforgettable, captivating experience.

Compagnie Ar

Performance
Invisible walls. A woman sliding and pushing. The body contorts, pressing against the limits of a narrow glass prism. Protection or imprisonment? A dizzying, wordless exploration of boundaries and the injunctions that bodies undergo, executed with artistic precision by Alice Rende. A minimalist soundscape accompanies the sounds produced by a soft body resisting its hard container. Duration: 30 minutes.

Conscious Way Outernational

Live Act
Conscious Way Outernational Hi*Powa is a sound system that proudly carries on the spirit and vibrations of the Caribbean. Corner Condition

Band
Corner Conditions work spans across media to include, among others, video, sound, and performance. Intersecting, overlapping, and intercoursing, the duo criticizes labour exploitation and gendered power distribution under techno-capitalism. Their work appropriates eroticism and sensuality to illuminate absurdity and contradiction inherent to privatized / corporate space.

Dance Out Loud

Welcome to our special Sunday dance: Dancing the world with our bones! How does militarization affect our bodies? How about patriarchy and oppression? How do we claim our space, dance our anger, and find our own militancy — one that arises from a benevolent relationship with our bodies? Mentally, physically, and sensually, we stand up against the intensifying militarization of the present! In recent years, DANCE OUT LOUD has brought feminist dance protest forms to the streets of Hamburg. Today, open to EVERY BODY who joins our fight! DE + EN + ES Martina & Smilla

Dead Bob

Band
How to describe 50 years of music? Amazing, weird, post punk, wave, Bob! These guys keep kicking ass when others just wither away. They're still touring stages worldwide and they're constantly asked to name their genre. But they still haven't managed to find one that fits! One thing is clear: turn up the volume! We aim to make sure you hear it all good and loud!

In the name of climate protection, green hydrogen is being produced in the Global South for the Global North. Using the Hyphen project in Namibia as an example, this workshop will demonstrate how decarbonisation perpetuates colonial power structures, inequalities, and exploitation.

Designing Life: the Un|Natural Selection Club

Talk
What is life? This question has invigorated science, philosophy, and art, and today it is being reshaped by emerging technologies. With tools like CRISPR & AI, scientists are developing “Synthetic Biology 2.0”, creating “self-assembling” cells, programming proteins and organoids. As the possibility of “designing new life” becomes more tangible, it raises ethical and societal concerns that we need to consider. The Un|Natural Selection Club offers a space to explore these questions collectively through artistic and experimental engagement with emerging scientific findings. Together, we’ll craft, sculpt, mutate, synthesize, hack, reimagine, and animate life through art to make-sense of what we are made of and provide a broader picture as to what considerations of "life" - taken more openly and metaphorically – need to be included when thinking about how we want to live in the 21st century. The art created during this workshop will serve as a catalyst for dialogue with scientists.

Deutsche Laichen

Band
Deutsche Laichen – which approximately translates to »German coarpses« – charge in at full gallop with feminist punk rooted in queer DIY culture. Their sound mixes punk energy with post-punk tension, driven bass, and raw vocals, shaped by a very millennial fatigue, resistance and fragile hope. Fuck.

Deva feat. Zakhorov

Live Act
Дeva is a DIY project by a hungarian musician, Dorina Takács. She writes and produces her tracks and designs her artworks. Дeva's music features are atmospheric smooth sounds, pulsating bass and polyphonic mantras mostly inspired by magical Hungarian folk songs. Although in some cultures ‘deva’ represented brightness, this word was also used for evil throughout history.

Dexter & Urban Beats Collective

Live Act

DIE GRILLEN

Live Act
Die Grillen are a Berlin-based electronic duo mixing electroclash, wave, Italo disco, and cosmic club energy into danceable, character-driven electro pop. Pulsing synths, 303 basslines, cold drum machines, and dry, deadpan lyrics. Their sound moves between irony and sincerity, between the dancefloor and something stranger underneath. Built on a DIY mindset and a hardware-only live setup, Die Grillen borrow from the past only to distort it and make it move.

Die Knöpfe

Band

Die Steifen

Band
Art-Punk from the Rheinhessen region: the trio Die Steifen are crafting stripped-back, minimalist pop-punk songs that explore themes of disco nightlife, violence and social façades with wit and precision. Reviewers have compared their sound to a mix of Die Ärzte, Udo Lindenberg and Ian MacKaye (with which they are okay with).

Dietah & Thorsten (Grindcoremusical)

Band
Attack of the Mad Axeman create a savage collision of grindcore, theatre, and absurd storytelling: a chaotic live spectacle that blends extreme music, raw violence, and brutal DIY cinematic energy into a deranged, genius stage experience. No joke, this is the first (and best and probably the last!) grindcore musical you'll ever see in your lifetime.

Die Wilde Jagd with Jena Philharmonic Quartet

Band
The Jena Philharmonic Quartet drifts through the layers of Die Wilde Jagd’s sprawling cosmic grooves as the night bends somewhere between chamber music, drone, and ritual pulse. Strings scrape against looping rhythms, tension builds slowly, and suddenly it feels less like a concert than like a strange dance procession moving through the dark.

Digital Funfair

Performance
The Digital Funfair is a collection of interactive games and experiences borne out of a moment when excess seemed to take over from fun at UK free parties. The home of the Beat Jigsaw, Scratch Yourself Stupid, and Light Hearted – all festival favourites. Some people think they're the best interactive installations ever! Other people think it’s rubbish! Come and make your own mind up!

Ditz

Band
Ditz play a tense mix of noise rock, post-punk, and hardcore. Their sound combines driving basslines, sharp guitars, and rhythms with spoken and shouted vocals. Hailing from Brighton and a new wave of British post-punk, Ditz's repetitive grooves and chaotic bursts of energy make for a raw and physical musical journey.

DIY-Harness-Workshop

Workshop

DJ Balaton

Live Act
DJ Balaton transports listeners to a sonic landscape reminiscent of an ideal day off, blending deep, dub-infused house rhythms with warm synth textures. His debut EP, Blauer Montag, released on Audiolith's sublabel Hold Your Ground, draws inspiration from the tradition of taking Mondays off, offering a soundtrack for those seeking a musical escape.

Dogshow

Band
Dogshow are two brothers traversing the astral planes of dance music dressed as poodles. These two full-bodied canine siblings are on a mission to create the ultimate party experience, fusing live techno and rave with real instruments. Performing in the middle of the audience on their battery-powered Dog Trolley, they conduct an animalistic »howling at the moon« ceremony. Part space-age cabaret, part canine cult – this is dance music at its most gloriously unhinged.

Dolph

Live Act
Dolph's warm, grounded dancefloors have a living-room atmosphere, always staying close to the people. With roots in Mecklenburg and a musical background in hiphop and electronica, Dolph's sound moves between downtempo, deep house, and slightly crooked electronic music, a thing he calls Metahop. Slow, groovy, a little weird, but never harmless.

DOOM GONG

Band
U.S.A. by seven music school nerds, DOOM GONG has made a name for themselves internationally with their own home-baked genre, Denim Psych – a hodgepodge of psychedelic rock, jazz fusion, bedroom pop, lo-fi, contemporary classical music, as well as blood, sweat, and a lot of denim.

EBBB

Band
Drawing on a diverse range of influences, Ebbb have developed something very unique. Fusing pulsing rhythms, immersive electronic production, layered vocal harmonies and beats that veer from ambient to industrial and gabber, the result is an idiosyncratic hybrid of sounds that will trip you off your feet.

Ecko Bazz

Live Act
Ugandan MC Ecko Bazz is one of the most uncompromising voices to emerge from East Africa’s underground. Closely affiliated with the Kampala-based collective Nyege Nyege and its experimental imprint Hakuna Kulala, he has built a reputation for explosive performances and a raw, confrontational lyrical style delivered in Luganda. Since his breakthrough with Tuli Banyo (2018), Ecko Bazz has continuously pushed the boundaries of regional rap, fusing grime, dancehall, and industrial club music into a sound that is both physically aggressive and politically charged.

Elternabend

Band
ELTERNABEND is when parents have to show up at school and sit through a lecture on why their son Fynn-Lasse wasn't paying attention in Latin class - again and again. Sounds like a drag, right? The band Elternabend, on the other hand, is waaaaaaay more fun. They play hooky: they are all about punk, lyrics about free beer, head breaking pogo, and anti-fascism. And sometimes their music is almost kind of like rock ’n’ roll, with a slower tempo so you can catch your breath in between songs and take a sip of your beer.

Embrace Connection Tango

A political dissident, Faravaz keeps raising her voice for voiceless women and against gender apartheid. Her provocative, unforgiving style will turn the mic into a megaphone for collective empowerment.

Farhot

Band
Farhot's honey-dripped lyrics are loaded with melancholy and the shifting moods of early hiphop; his bars outsmart only his beats. An evolution from conscious rap to melodic downtempo, from the smoothest synth and back to the roots. An unhurried journey between a wide range of samples transposed into a warmly blended mix of sound and beats to soothe your soul and awaken the dance in ya.

Faroul

Band
Faroul make music for the SOUL. A five-head band brings together family, roots, funk, soul, and pop in a multi-vocal and multi-lingual groove. Live and spontaneous and always, always danceable, Faroul are here to say it loud and clear: chill out, be kind to one another, and fight the power.

FAT CONCUBINE

Band
»Music to put your mind on steroids.« South-east London’s Fat Concubine is a high-end, danceable riot with a post-punk vibe. Melodic brass and heavy beats with relentless energy to drive up the sound system and rev up the rave. Get on your mosh.

Faul & Spaeth

Live Act
Faul & Spaeth found their sound somewhere between 303 acid lines, driving downtempo, and the search for abundant grooves. Complex percussion, retro synth aesthetics, and lower bpm rates hover between slow acid house and psychedelic trance. Mystical soundscapes for slowing down and re-energising in preparation for the next plane of reality.

Film: Foragers

Film
With subtle humor the movie shows the conflicts surrounding the gathering of wild edible plants in Palestine/Israel. Combining fiction, documentary and archival footage, the film examines how Israeli nature protection laws restrict traditional foraging practices, particularly of ’akkoub and za’atar. Following foragers from field to courtroom, it explores questions of land, heritage, resilience and who has the power to decide what is preserved or allowed to survive. The filmmaker is present! Fletchy Boy (live)

Live Act
Some artists need to be experienced live to be truly understood. Fletchy Boy is certainly one of them. Originally coming from a background in R&B, classical piano, and live vocals, he has evolved into an artist who blurs the lines between club music and live performance. In his productions and sets, classical musicality meets driving house energy; emotional depth collides with movement, groove, and release. Intimacy and euphoria alike: everything unfolds on the dancefloor.

Fliegende Haie

Band
The Fliegende Haie began as a one-night stand. By some mysterious alchemy, this transformed into cutting, adrenalin-driven electro-pop with bite and intent. Aggressive and tender, hyper-energetic and fun, here is the answer to a world full of smartphone zombies and power-hungry despots. From gender roles to mental (un)health, the Fliegende Haie pumps new energy into smashing taboos with both trash and intellect.

Front Page Leslie

Live Act
Front Page Leslie writes from the blurry place between a diary and a dream. Leslie's songs play out like a fairytale set at the edge of a new chapter of life, full of love, lost youth, and a restlessness that never holds still. The mic gets passed around. Voices tell of a kid adrift, a lovestruck fool, a drunk under bleary streetlights. The sound slips between no wave, mutant dub, abstract hip hop, post-punk, and experimental. The perfect music for all the hopeless romantics out there.

In Retzow-Rechlin, just around the corner, there was a forced-labor camp and a satellite camp of the Ravensbrück concentration camp from 1940 to 1945. Traces of Nazi forced labor can also be found on the Fusion grounds. How can we commemorate this history today? How do we reconcile the memory of these crimes with Fusion as a place for parties, ecstasy, and “holiday communism”? Diana Groó is the granddaughter of Judith Varga-Hoffmann, a survivor of the camp. Glass Museum

Band
Close your eyes and try to think of a combination of the love and empathy of your best friends and the precision of a clockwork. Glass Museum sounds a bit like that. Born out of the urge to perform a loud and sometimes primitive setlist of riffs, distortion and contorting vocals GORZ will use tenderness as a weapon, screaming as a caress, and volume as a pillow, to inhabit a harsh, aggressive and violently cute world.

Guido Möbius

Live Act
Listeners who have come in contact with the music of Guido Möbius solely through his album releases are in for surprise when they attend one of the Berlin-based musician’s gigs. That is mainly due to the fact that Möbius makes no attempt whatsoever to translate the album tracks into a live performance. On the contrary: With the help of no more than his guitar, his voice, a trumpet and loads of effect pedals, he creates highly energetic music in between humour and hypnosis. Another element that makes his performances so special is his spontanous interaction with the audience.

Güner Künier

Band
Post-punk and no-wave are the key musical reference points for musician/actor Güner Künier. The psychedelic 70ies as well as 90ies noise-rock and riot grrrl may also have left their mark. Güner Künier has retroactively claimed the concept of »Yaramaz« (»good-for-nothing« in Turkish) as her own and sings about not letting anything stop you – find your own sense of confidence, whether it lies in studying industrial engineering, the arts, or both.

The arena for their attempt to develop a shared language is the Cyr wheel, a classic circus discipline that is barely recognizable in this highly distinctive style – poetic, powerful, and honest.

Joshua Idehen

Live Act
Joshua Idehen delivers poetry like someone reading out emergency instructions long after the emergency already started. His tracks move between deadpan humour, political exhaustion and strange tenderness, carried by sparse club rhythms and sharp spoken word. Somewhere inside the jokes about washing machines, masculinity and ideology sits a very real question: who gets promised a future, and who is expected to survive without one?

Band
Joy Bogat begins a new era – bolder, more headstrong, yet still so warm and inviting that everyone can find their own space within it. Her clear and distinctive voice blends with layers of piano, vocals, spoken word, and grooving beats – all with an ease that’s hard to come by in indie-soul music. In her music, she explores the following questions: what does it mean to be gentle, courageous, responsible, black, a woman, and a mother in today’s world? Let’s accompany her on her journey, with her voice, her messages, and all the little miracles.

Touching visual canvases and poems composed by the machines of that era inspired the artists to turn to the machines of this time for new stories. Our Police Raid: The Clandestine Publics Research Group

Talk
Two members of our research group threw christmas decorations filled with paint on the wall of a police station. What followed might sound like a bad film: a car versus bike chase, arrests, body searches, incarcerations, police raids, confiscations and court cases. In this lecture performance, we will reconstruct and analyse these real events, using documents that the police had to release, activists' thought protocols, and objects that were stored by the police for three years until part of the legal processes got settled. "Bureaucrats with guns" (David Graeber) meet queer activists. Together with you, we ask: What the hell happened? And what can we learn from it? The Clandestine Publics Research Group explores situations and practices in which two seemingly contradictory goals are entangled: making things public and keeping things secret. We extract methods from various fields, ranging from everyday situations, artworks and radical activism all the way to surveillance, elite exclusivity, police operations, or fascist communication. We do this to make such methods available in leftist activism, art, anthropology & play, mirroring our differing respective backgrounds and fields of practice.

The stage is a playground where trance becomes irrepressible, breathless, constantly brushing against the boundaries of chaos. The sound hits, hypnotizes, triggers spasms, awakens the smells of acid, cosmetics, and burnt rubber.

Patina Records

Live Act
Label, crew or movement? Who knows? Who cares? Patina Records is everything. The crew straight from the Pott delivers fresh energy on stage and online without leaving anybody out. Rap skills meet a bit of swagger, early-2000s German rap meets new wave, and the hooks stick around long after the set ends. Front row's waiting, party people!

Band

POISON RUÏN

Band
Poison Ruïn sound like somebody locked a punk band in a collapsing medieval castle and forgot to let them out again. The guitars and drums feels like marching through mud carry songs about ruined worlds, exhausted people and power structures rotting from the inside. It’s dark, weirdly beautiful and just uncomfortable enough to make your stomach tighten a little.

POWER PLUSH

Band
Pink noise is subjectively perceived white noise. Or better Power Plush feels the loud white noise of the world and translates ist into their pink power pop! They blend dreamy textures with post-punk and indie-rock bringing a raw and rebellious energy to the stage. How plush are you? Rock has never been that pink...

Workshop
get inspired and learn different power-trick variations with the hula hoop. The workshop is designed for beginners and already Hoopers (different levels, Workshop open to all gender)

Princess Room

Live Act
Princess Room is kind of a live set and kind of a DJ set, but you kind of gotta be there to understand it. What started in the halls of a grand castle in Halle—blending rave poetics with deeply minimal beats through a ghetto blaster—led them to become electronic residents with Juicy Bar, one of Europe’s most outrageous dance floors. Despite playing rarely due to multiple neurodivergence's including ADHHHHHD, mild autism, and parenting, they’ve found a loyal following at some of Europe’s most iconic festivals and clubs.

Prison Affair

Band
Prison Affair is a musical project born in Barcelona around 2018. Lo-fi sound based on synthesized guitar riffs, forceful bass line and denatured vocals. All this supported by a tight drum machine. In power-trio format for the live shows with Adri on drums.

Queer Antifascist Karaoke

Performance
We all use music to cope and find power and courage to face the dismal times we are living in, but we too rarely come together to share this power within and across communities. We want to sing together to Ton Steine Scherben, We Shall Overcome or Get Up Stand Up, or admire the person who knows all the lyrics of Antifa Dance by Ana Tijoux, Fighter by Christina Aguilera, La Rage by Keny Arkana or Antifascista by ZSK.

Queer Friends

Workshop
Maral and Jo share a long-standing friendship as well as common queer-feminist and intersectional perspectives. In their workshop “Living Friendships,” they explore alternative ways of life beyond romantic relationships, marriage, and the nuclear family. What role can friendships play in providing security, connection, and commitment? And how can they be strengthened, valued, and made visible, especially for queer people?

Queer Futuring - Utopias of Care & Solidarity

Talk
Queer Futuring – Utopias of Care & Solidarity is a participatory workshop that uses the festival as a space to imagine new ways of living, caring, and resisting together. Based on ethnographic research with queer communities in West Germany, it explores how people create shared care and solidarity under precarious conditions, often in the gaps left by institutions and the state. The workshop connects care ethics, radical democracy, and queer theory in an accessible way. It asks what queer life can mean not only as identity, but as a set of relationships shaped by power, vulnerability, and mutual responsibility. Participants will move through short reflections, small-group conversations, and a collective mapping exercise to think about where care is shared, where it is missing, and where inequalities appear. The workshop also invites everyone to imagine a future in which care, solidarity, and joy are central rather than secondary.

Queer Quiz & Drag Show

Workshop
Drag is at the crossroads of mainstream entertainment, niche queer culture, and radical political action. The stonewall riots were led by drag performers. And now Drag got to Netflix. Let’s explore the nuances of this history with a queer Quiz! Pétrole Désamour and Dustin Glitter will challenge your knowledge about queer history and gay pop culture and will make you sweat, laugh and scream with their silly hot drag show! Raphael Moussa Hillebrand

Workshop

RAR

Band
RAR's music bears traces of post-punk, synth-pop, and other soundscapes of the 1980s. The interplay between organic and synthetic elements is finely tuned, and this balance creates a fluid harmony. An ominous synth bass and a mechanical drum beat provide the necessary drama—all rounded out by remarkable lyrics.

Rasco

Band
Named after Charlie Megira’s hit song “At the Rasco”, and influenced by The cramps, Beach Boys, Tim Presley and many more, Rasco distill into their music the essence and sound of sixties surf and garage bands, and combine it with vocal harmonies and surfy riffs.

RAUBWÜRGER

Band
The Lanius excubitor's range of vocalisation involves harsh and hoarse sounds. When feeling aggressive, the beast bangs away with objects that are not part of its own body (drums, guitar). They want you to »slack off for the rainforest, just existing, not ruining the environment – take your bloody rubbish with you! Without diversity, happiness dies.« 80s hardcore punk meets ornithology. Love birds, hate fascism.

RAZMOTCHIKI KATUSHEK

Live Act
The music of Razmotchiki Katushek was created by the duo - Yekaterina Fyodorova and Remko Muermans - now a solo project. Extravagant and wild, a mix of post-industrial, raw EBM electro-sequences, lively dance-punk and biting acid-house. This is all presented with the energy of a powerful rock group, making live concerts the ultimate way to hear Razmotchiki Katushek. Yekaterina Fyodorova's drum kit is a whole orchestra of springs, pipes and miscellaneous metal objects.

Reflection on Times of Fascist Passion

Talk
Witnessing the world around you, how do you feel? What world(s) are you in? In this session, we dissect political feelings. First, we introduce some thoughts about emotional and affective dimensions of far-right and anti-democratic politics, revealing their nationalist, fascist and racist views and passions. Secondly, moving through feminist approaches to affect and emotion, we open the space for everyone to collectively reflect on their own political feelings in times of far-right political turns and therefore uncertainty. If some right-wing extremists and conspiracy theorists are suddenly claiming to offer love and hope, how is that not only contributing to contested truths but how does it also shape the way we feel, act, and react as a democratic collective?

Regulating Desire: AI, Pornography, and Sex Work in Contemporary Germany

Workshop
This talk explores two crucial topics affecting sex workers currently: the ongoing debate around sex work regulation in Germany, including possible changes and the concerns many sex workers have about them. It highlights why policies should be shaped by listening directly to sex workers and their lived experiences. The session also looks at how AI and deepfake porn are affecting sex workers today: - How are sex workers being affected by, or interacting with deepfake technologies and AI? - What are the harms that currently exist and what are the potential benefits? The findings of a yearlong research on this topic will be presented as well as what sex work activism stands for when it comes to policy making and legislation.

Live Act

Remote Bondage

Band
Remote Bondage make poppy punk songs about PMS, heartbreak, sex and trying not to lose it completely. Between three voices, heavy bass and drums that keep pushing everything forward, things can get chaotic, theatrical and a little mean. Their live shows feel just as performative as their songs, somewhere between concert, emotional oversharing and stage play. Remote Bondage turn all the weird little breakdowns of everyday life into something loud enough to dance to, so come along before they really end up in hell!

Reptilian Expo

Live Act
Reptilian Expo makes electronic music that won't sit still in any one box. Woozy, ambient, hard to pin down, somewhere between deep rattling bass and a slow underwater drift. Then suddenly a delicious kick gets your body moving while everything around it still seems to be in a trance. Squeaks, warped samples and bent vocal lines wander through, never quite serious. Sometimes unsettling, sometimes daft, never what you would expect, but certainly danceable.

River Roux

Performance
‘JUICE’ confronts the categorisation of androgynous, illegible and disobedient bodies. In 1820, 19-year-old Mademoiselle Lefort's international career took off with an exhibition. She was presented to the public as an ‘irresistible attraction in which the sexes are equally united’. What Lefort felt at the time is unknown. The way her body has been studied and looked upon by doctors has been meticulously documented. To this day, medical science declares inter* persons as a biological phenomenon and anatomical impossibility. Evaluation by evaluation dissects, examines, evaluates, and ultimately invalidates their existence. In the performance ‘JUICE’, River Roux enters a transparent space. Whether museum, strip club or observatory, the gazes directed at her oscillate between desire and disgust, between attraction and shame. Roux examines the fascination with bodies in-between: Which body is perceived as ‘natural’, which as insurgent? And who is allowed to exist beyond fetishization?

Role of community radio

Talk

Audiences are invited to read excerpts from a radio play about antifascist resistance fighter Lore Wolf and texts on the 2016 O-Platz migrant occupation in Berlin. Through collective readings and performances, archives are reactivated and stories of resistance brought into dialogue. EN

Rosa Canina Collective feat. Uschi and the Boobs

Band
Rosa Canina Collective—the wild roses with teeth—have agreed to leave their secret hideout for Fusion, bringing their sprawling arsenal of instruments and a sound that oscillates between psychedelic kraut-pop and experimental music. Daring to start without knowing where it might end. Joined by Ushi and the Boobs, you can expect a feral and shimmering Happening, that will move between primary source and presence.

Rytes

Band
RYTES are a raw and uncompromising force in anarcho-hardcore: fast blast beats, shuddering riffs and fiercely political lyrics, including members of Anti-Corpos and Zero Discount. Tagged as “BLAST BEATS FOR ANARCHO PEEPS”, RYTES blend sludgy hardcore textures with riot-ready urgency, thriving in the underground Berlin ecosystem of DIY and political punx.

Sacekripa

Theater
At the crossroads of Theatre of Objects, Miniature Circus and Unintentional Clowning, "Vu" is a solo show for a manipulator of everyday objects, featuring a meticulous, delicate and over-orderly character. In this wordless show, the tension mounts and the story inevitably gets out of hand. We laugh as much as we marvel at the live micro-tinkering. We're as moved as we are worried by this character mirroring our own madness.

Saint Stacy

Band
Some pop you analyse. This you just move to. Saint Stacy keeps the surface bright and the groove steady, then lets her warm, unhurried voice carry the rest. The versatile singer, songwriter, producer and fashion artist makes music that stays in your head. Her ingredients are a stylish, self-assured brand of indie-pop, a sure-footed mix of warm vocals, catchy guitar hooks and vibrant production.

SALÒ

Band
That's the kind of music for dog petters, for people who refuse to work and also for everyone else who does have feelings. With SALÒ pop meets punk, anger meets vulnerability and platitudes meet big feelings. Where does that lead to? Songs about lust, suffering and love in times of late turbocapitalism.

Sami Galbi

Band
Swiss and Moroccan multi-instrumentalist and producer emerging from the alternative scenes of Switzerland, Sami Galbi draws from his parallel musical universes to create his own sound. On both hands he embraces north african raï and chaabi and blends it up with some of the electronic beats and textures that shaped his upbringing. His influences feature US hip-hop, UK bass, House and Afro-Caribbean dance music.

Saraabb

Live Act
"Saraabb is an electronic music project that blends the spiritual depth of sufi music with heavy electronic beats, featuring live Sufi singing, synthesizer, and electric guitar. Through this blend, they seamlessly connect their roots in Damascus with their second home in Berlin, taking the listener on an ever-evolving sonic journey that narrates a story through sound, tradition, and passion"

Scampi

Band
SCAMPI are four people with a ****load of passion and one restless idea of what drum and bass can do. The band keeps the tempo high and the bass heavy, then lets synths, a sampler and beautiful vocals do their job. Driving one moment, atmospheric the next, rarely sitting still long enough to pin down. Still early in their run, still adding songs, still working out how far they can push a room. Catch SCAMPI on the way up!

Schlagen! Werfen! Schreien!

Workshop

Schlecht

Band
Schlecht but not bad. Music to pogo to, scream along with, and rage against the world. Somewhere between hardcore punk, noise-fueled chaos, and a simple-minded crash-out. There is beer at the end of the tunnel.

Schuetter

Band
Schuetter play punk sung in German, and they mean every word of it. Their songs go after the state of things head-on, with convictions they refuse to trade away for a louder cheer. The playing is grim and stripped back, certainly not showing off. Honest, heavy, built to be shouted along to and with a hearty portion of subversive energy. Personal Recommendation: Find a spot in the pit and stay loose.

Schulverweis

Live Act
Schulverweis make punk the way it should be: in the moment. The band only exists because LFT and Levente had to share a studio in overcrowded Hamburg. Somewhere between overpriced cafés around the corner and recording jams straight to tape, dystopian synths, dusty drums and simple guitar riffs come together. Shouting, talking, babbling. German, English, French, who cares.

Self Destruction Mode

Band
If you're looking for a label, you might try: “hard-rocking, crusty black-thrashing, D-beat-infused speed metal punk.”Don’t expect clichéd metal lyrics, though. Their songs tackle personal, social and everyday struggles, as well as a deep-seated disgust with large parts of humanity. For anyone craving metal punk with a blackened heart, rust-covered speed and zero regard for compromise, this is exactly where you need to be.

Set Ambessa feat. Wends

Live Act
Genre-fluid vocalist Wends has been raised by the UK Sound System scene since 2022, generating hype while mashing up dances across the country. Hailing from Glasgow, Wends combines reggae- inspired, soul-toasting singing while MCing with fast, lyrically complex bars on a variety of soundystem music like Dub & Reggae, Hip Hop, 140, Garage, Drum & Bass, Jungle and Latin Dance.

Sexverbot

Band
Sexverbot are a Berlin punk band who waste no time getting to the point. Fast guitars, harsh words, and a roaring sound you won't mistake for anything else. Their targets range from capitalism as a fever dream to social coldness, self-destruction and the whole business of spiritual snake oil. The songs are short, sharp and unwilling to compromise. Underneath the noise sits the anger of a generation with little to look forward to. See you in the mosh pit!

She Cant Afford Mascara

Live Act
She Can't Afford Mascara was born from a need for South Asian representation in Europe's underground goth scene. Created by Adam Shazard, the project draws from experiences in the queer club underground, where glamour became an act of survival despite financial hardship and a non-supportive Muslim family. Mascara is a field full of melodramatic, depressive truths about Pakistani goth trauma, the art of delusion and the glamour found on sticky underground dancefloors. Mascara is the meeting of New Beat, Goth, and EBM with Pakistani and ethnic musical traditions.

Sickmark

Band
fast, slow, loud, noisy, no compromise power violence with unmistakable hardcorepunk roots.

Skorts

Band
At SKORTS’ first show, an amp exploded. Call it an accident or a prophecy, from there was born a band that refused to arrive quietly. The four friends play urgent and passionate sets, dazzlingly polished rock with an incy-cool alternative edge. Their debut album conjures up tender impermanence. And why wouldn't you wanna catch the buzz on their first European tour?

SLIFT

Band
Slift craft a genre-defying fusion of doom, psychedelia, and krautrock, charged with the raw intensity of garage rock. Their recurring cosmic themes pull both sci-fi devotees and psychonauts into a mind-expanding journey through sprawling sonic galaxies into dark fields of human despair.

Performing over a thousand shows, Snailmate has cultivated a fervent fanbase that aims to be inclusive with the band priding their shows as a safe space for all genders and people of all sexualities.

Snow Trail

Band
With its gruff, punk-infused sounds and lively English vocals with a pleasant German accent, the band captures the sense of hopelessness of an entire generation that’s somehow trying to cope amid the aftermath of "Letzte Generation", the lingering effects of the pandemic, and political flip-flopping—all while being left pretty much on its own. Snowtrail certainly isn’t reinventing the post-punk wheel, but they keep it rolling. Straightforward, no-frills songs that thrive above all on the members’ unbridled energy.

Soli-Ehen

Workshop

Sophia Kennedy

Band
Catchy until it bites. Sophia Kennedy writes songs that pull you in with a hook and then tip the floor sideways. That's glamour and dread in the same breath. Live, the contradictions are the point: a sweet melody next to a scream, a slow ballad that suddenly speeds up like burning tires. Variety is key for Sophia Kennedy. Shimmering synths, drum-machine beats, a voice that switches masks mid-song. Equal parts pop, club and fever dream, played by an artist who treats the stage like a film set.

SoSo Klein

Live Act
Soso Klein’s music is just like her dance style: bouncy and catchy. Originally from France, the Berlin-based DJ, pianist and producer mixes dreamy, pitched-down techno beats with Dark Disco and Indie Dance, punctuated by lighter, floating melodies to create colorful and eclectic sets. Making a name for herself in remarkably little time, in less than two years she was already playing at renowned festivals and iconic venues around Europe and the Middle East. In 2026, she began performing hybrid sets that incorporate live piano, adding an organic, expressive layer to her dynamic repertoire. Expect to be surprised, and put on your good shoes, it’s gonna groove!

Their music moves at the intersection of contemporary jazz, alternative pop and R&B, delivering intricate melodies and tightly woven arrangements with emotional vulnerability and an ethos of shared empowerment.

South Asian Disco Kiosk

DJ
Neukölln-based baithak for South Asian culture, politics, and community: Spicy grooves, obscure B-sides, and floor-filling bangers woven with live commentary, wandering time zones. Languages you dont speak but your body knows. DJs idiyappam, Tariq, and chippi take you on a ride across sonorities and continents — the kind of gathering we call a baithak. New rhythms. New shakes. Old feelings. For the backbenchers, the latecomers, and the gloriously lost.

Städtische Manieren

Band
Teasingly playful, Städtische Manieren (possible translation: urban manners) switch sound and genres much, much faster than inner-city traffic moves... Which might not move at all because it's mostly jammed. Is their music jammed as well? Not really, it sounds excessive yet controlled in the nervous tradition of post-punk and experimental alternative-rock with an avant-garde edge. For anyone who enjoys not knowing what will happen but that it can happen anytime.

Stefanie Schrank

Live Act
Stefanie Schrank makes the kind of art pop that thinks while it moves. Analogue synths roll underneath, grooves turn corners you don't see coming, and her voice stays calm even when the subject matter isn't. She sings about the weight of the system, but never spelling it out, always leaving room to drift. At the end stays a groove, that makes you sway.

Sufi Dub Brothers

Live Act
They are back: During the last few years, Ashraf Sharif Khan & Viktor Marek have been able to build a valid career, based on the sheer strength of their incredible and incredibly entertaining live sets. And this despite the fact that their debut album "Sufi Dub Brothers" came out in August 2020 after almost ten years in the making in the midst of all the COVID turmoil. Long gone are the suspicions of their approach of combining sitar and samplers as esoteric.

Super Jet Kinoko

Band
Some bands you watch. This one you join. Super Jet Kinoko take rock apart and put it back together with acid synths, trance pulses and a beat that won't sit still. Live, things tilt, things blur, and somehow everyone ends up moving together in this beautiful mess. The self-described »New-Wave-Mushroom-Trance« band do their thing. Loud, unruly, a little absurd. A dancefloor must!

SUSPECTRE

Band
Alienation, inner conflicts and the contradictions of living in a capitalist society - usual topics for a post punk band. Yet Suspectre are an energizing outfit with many facets in their repertoire and their sound is an invitation to dance and shake the weltschmerz off.

Sweely

Live Act
Long before the steepest basslines in the scene, it was rock, hip hop, jazz and music from all corners that fed into Sweely's sound. He's the type to grab whatever instrument is lying around and crack it, happiest with percussion, a guitar or some keys under his hands. And the man does not miss, banger after banger, year after year, the kind of run that keeps a dancefloor honest. By the end the whole room is cheering.

Syntax Schwarz

Performance
The New Old_Experiment 3 Once upon a time, in the distant future, humans—or Europeans—traveled to faraway places to see how far they could go, but above all, to see what they could plunder. Today, 500 years later, explorers have other ideas. We send Golden Records into space and greet the aliens they contain. We’ve learned our lesson. We no longer want to travel from the Canary Islands to “America,” but from the Moon to Mars. In “The New Old,” we navigate through historical and technological eras. We use imaging devices to navigate between the present and the past, between the analog and the digital—projectors and live camera feeds. In an interactive performance between artist, devices, and audience, incorporating philosophies that enable other fruitful encounters.

Live Act
Tanajah is a hip-hop artist and rapper whose music is best characterized by her ability to convey reflectiveness, self-empowerment, and altogether positive vibes through her lyrical and musical expression. Teatro Pavana

Hippos are confusing animals. You know them from picture books as big brave, cuddly creatures that only open their huge mouth to laugh or to swallow a bunch of lettuce. On the other hand, they rank high in all top ten lists of the most dangerous animals on land. What is the truth? If you meet Nellie the Hippo in the wild, forget what you know and only believe your own eyes. Nellie is curious, gruff, cranky or now and then even nerdy; sometimes a clown and sometimes a prude. Nellie can dance like a nymph and sing like a nightingale. When she is in a good mood, her ears curl and her eyes glow with pleasure. But if she is rude and naughty, caregiver Alki has to make every effort to keep Nellie in line. Even though she can be moody, we think she’s the sweetest hippo in the world.

thea & schtu

Live Act
Two producers, one quietly shared idea of what music is for. thea & schtu cultivate a soft, swaying kind of house, the sort you meet with your eyes shut rather than your fists in the air. Both of them sing here and there, never making a big deal of it. Then, now and again, a punchy kick rolls in and the whole thing tips toward a proper party, though it's just as happy not to. Feeling ties it all together.
