NEWSLETTER JUNE 2026
Dear Fusionists from all corners of the world,
In just a few days, our little window into a world we prefer to the one that greets us daily in the news will open once again in Lärz. Final preparations are in full swing. Crews are planning, building, repairing, organising and improvising, while many of you are probably already working your way through packing lists, trying not to forget anything between tent poles, swimwear and toothbrushes.
Before things get too chaotic, here are the most important updates ahead of Fusion.
Programme
As always, the full programme will only be released when the festival begins. You'll find it in the Festival Guide and in the Fusion App. Speaking of the app: you'll be able to filter the programme, save your highlights and even mark your tent on the festival map — a useful feature when trying to find your way home after three nights of dancing. In the meantime, you'll already find plenty of programme information on our website.
Fake Wristbands & Ticket Scams
All wristbands - whether for guests, crews or artists - contain a chip and will be scanned for authenticity. If someone offers you a wristband on a train, in a club or elsewhere, don't buy it. It won't get you into the festival.
We're also seeing an increase in ticket scams this year. Please stay alert and don't get fooled. We've published additional information in the forum, but the short version is simple: There is only one legitimate way to obtain a Fusion 2026 ticket at this point: through our Ticket Exchange.
Tickets & Ticket:Bourse
Fusion tickets are officially sold out.
That doesn't necessarily mean you're out of luck. Our Ticket:Bourse connects people who can no longer attend with those still looking for a ticket.
The system works dynamically, depending on supply and demand. Experience tells us that many tickets still change hands during the days leading up to Fusion.
Sunday Tickets
Many Sunday tickets have already been sold in advance via our website for €65.
As always, a limited contingent will also be available on Sunday itself for spontaneous visitors, priced at €70.
Sales on site will take place on Sunday, 28 June, between 08:00 and 16:00. Anyone arriving later will unfortunately only get to witness the dismantling of the embassies.
Vehicle Add-On Tickets
Anyone who has somehow missed the most discussed topic of Fusion 2026 has either been living under a rock or wisely had better things to do. Starting this year, access to all camping areas with motorised vehicles will only be permitted with a valid vehicle add-on ticket. Anyone without one can use the free parking area on the airfield.
Additional travel information will be sent directly to all ticket holders before the festival to help everyone prepare for arrival.
Getting There
All ticket holders will receive a separate email from our ticketing crew with detailed travel information, including regional road closures.
Special Trains
Deutsche Bahn will operate two special trains on Wednesday from Berlin-Gesundbrunnen directly to Neustrelitz:
- Special Train 1: Departure 10:09
- Special Train 2: Departure 13:09
Apart from that, trains should run according to schedule — at least as much as one can reasonably expect from Deutsche Bahn.
Football & Flags
Another football World Cup is upon us - assuming the madman in the White House and his ICE gangs actually allow the international teams into the country.
There will be no public viewing on the festival grounds.
If you'd like to watch a match at your campsite, that's fine, but please be considerate of your neighbours. Large sound systems disturbing others will be collected by our security team.
Fusion is built on the idea that people come together regardless of origin, passport or nationality. For that reason, we ask you to leave national flags at home. Not because they're forbidden, but because we'd like to create a place where, for a few days, borders and the identities attached to them matter a little less.
Street Names
Long-time Fusionists will notice that some street names have changed. This helps emergency services locate people more quickly when every minute counts.
Because discussions and sometimes rather imaginative interpretations about the people behind certain street names continue to emerge, we will gradually install information boards explaining who these individuals were and the historical context behind the names.
Drug Use
As at any large festival, drugs are consumed at Fusion. Our critical stance towards current drug policies and towards the legal distinctions between different psychoactive substances - particularly between legal drugs such as alcohol and criminalised substances - is well known. Regardless of that position, existing laws apply on the festival grounds. Fusion is not a lawless space. Anyone openly dealing drugs will therefore be removed from the site without discussion.
The increasingly open and public consumption we have observed in recent years is not only uncool — it also puts the future of the festival at risk. We therefore ask everyone to exercise the discretion that has long been part of Fusion culture.
Our goal is to create the safest and most respectful environment possible. That means taking risks seriously, looking out for one another and accepting responsibility for the shared experience we create together.
Once again, in cooperation with the University of Rostock, we will offer drug-checking services on site.
And if things do become overwhelming for you or your friends, the teams from Eclipse e.V. will be there for you at their two locations. They provide a supportive environment, are highly trained and work closely together with medical staff.
Information
All festival information can be found on our website. Have a look before travelling so you're well prepared.
ALL TOGETHER...!
In response to the growing shift to the right in society and the very real possibility of far-right political influence or even government participation by the AfD in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a coalition of initiatives, associations and individuals was formed in November 2025 at the initiative of Kulturkosmos Müritz e.V.
Its slogan:
ALL TOGETHER against Fascism!
The initiative introduces itself:
„We are people who may differ in many ways, but who are united by the desire to actively oppose the growing shift to the right in society and to confront the real danger posed by the far-right AfD gaining political power in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
We realised that there are many of us living and working in this region who share the same concerns and fears. We do not want to stand by while the AfD's right-wing demagogues spread their racist and nationalist narratives and their false promises without challenge. We do not want to see anti-democratic forces gain democratic legitimacy only to dismantle the free society that made that legitimacy possible.
We therefore want to engage directly with people throughout our region, create opportunities for dialogue and support democratic political education through practical activities and public engagement. Our aim is education and awareness — not moralising, but listening. We want to understand people's concerns and counter right-wing demagoguery by addressing real problems rather than exploiting them.
We want to hear what moves people, understand their challenges and help expose the illusion that the AfD offers meaningful solutions. To support this work, we have converted a former public bus into a multifunctional media vehicle called the OMNImobil. Over the coming months we will travel throughout the region, visiting public spaces, schools and events, using a variety of creative intervention formats to encourage dialogue and participation.
We are also looking for additional people from the region to join us.
If you'd like to support us, contact us at: allezusammen@kulturkosmos.de
We also see ourselves as part of zusammenbewegen.org, a network committed to an open and liveable society and to actively shaping the future of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
We wish you a relaxed and joyful journey. Fusion 2026 is just around the corner, and we're excited as hell. We'll see each other very soon on the most beautiful field in Northern Germany. See you on the dancefloor.
